Account management includes creating, updating, and deleting user accounts to ensure proper control and organization
Creating Account
Steps:
- Open Home Food Spot app on your Mobile.
- Tap "Sign Up" and enter the required details.
- Please enter your details as required to proceed.
- Check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Tap "Sign Up" to complete the process.
Open your web browser and go to www.homefoodglobal.com
The landing page will appear after entering the URL.
Click the Order now button to go to the map location set up.
On the homePage, select "Use Current Location or "Set from map" at the centre of the screen.
Click sign in and swipe to the right to create an account.
Enter your details (First name, Last name, Email, password,Mobile number).
Check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Click "Sign Up" to complete the process.
Updating Account
Steps for Mobile:
- Open the Home Food Spot app.
- Tap the hamburger menu (☰) at the bottom-right corner to access the menu.
- Select "Profile"under the "General" section to view or edit your profile details.
- Tap the pencil icon next to your profile name to edit your details.
- To update your profile:
Profile Picture: Tap the camera icon in the circular frame to upload or change your picture.
First Name: Enter your first name in the "First Name" field.
Last Name: Enter your last name in the "Last Name" field.
Email: Update or confirm your email address in the "Email" field.
Phone Number: The phone number field is marked as "Non-changeable" and cannot be edited.
6. Make sure all fields are accurate, then tap "Update" to save your changes
Steps for Web:
- Open your web browser and go to www.homefoodglobal.com.
- The landing page will appear after entering the URL.
- Click the "Order Now" button to go to the map location setup.
- On the homepage, choose "Use Current Location" or "Set from Map" at the centre of the screen.
- Click "Sign In" and log in with your valid credentials.
- Click on your profile name to go to your user profile, then click "Edit Profile."
- You can update your profile photo, name, and email.
- Click "Update" to save your changes.
Deleting Account
- Click on Delete Account from the profile page.
- Confirm Delete or Cancel.
Steps for Web:
Login with valid credentials and click on profile name
Look for Delete account option displayed in profile section.
Click on Delete account
Confirm Delete or Cancel
Managing Favourites
Managing Favourites allows you to save restaurants and food items you enjoy, making it easy to revisit them later. These saved items are stored in your favourites list for quick access whenever you want. To add a dish or kitchen to your favourites, follow these steps:
Steps for Mobile:
Explore dishes or kitchens from the app's main page or search bar.
Look for a heart icon (♥) next to the dish or kitchen.
Tap the heart icon. The icon will fill in, indicating the item has been added to your favourites.
A message will pop up, confirming the item has been added to your favourites.
To access your favourites:
- Open the app.
- Look at the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the heart icon (♥), which represents the "Favorites" section.
- This will open the Favorites page,where you can view your saved dishes or kitchens.
Steps for Web:
Open your web browser and go to www.homefoodglobal.com
Login to your account
Explore the dishes or kitchens from the search bar or home page.
Look for the heart icon next to the name or image of the restaurant or food item.
Click the heart icon to favourite the item. The icon will turn solid, indicating it has been added to your favourites.
Open your web browser and go to www.homefoodglobal.com.
Log in to your account.
On the homepage, look for the "Favourites" section in the header.
Click on it, and a list of your favourite food and kitchens will be displayed.
