Adding A Deliveryman

Steps for Mobile:

Step 1: Ensure 'Self Delivery' is Enabled
To self-assign delivery personnel, the restaurant must first contact the admin team to enable the 'Self Delivery' option. Once this is activated, you can begin adding drivers.

Step 2: Download the Home Food Chef - Spot App
Install the Home Food Chef - Spot app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Step 3: Open the App
Launch the app and go to the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) located at the bottom right corner. From there, you’ll find an option to 'Add a Runner'.

Step 4: Enter Personal Details (General Info)
Fill in the required details:
  1.  First Name
  2.  Last Name
  3.  Email
  4.  Zone
  5.  Vehicle
  6.  Job Type
  7.  Identity Type
  8.  Identity Number
  9.  Identity Image

Step 5: Enter Additional Details
Provide the following information:
  1.  Age
  2.  Bank Name
  3.  Account Holder Name
  4.  Account Number
  5.  Sort Code
  6.  Delivery Vehicle Type (Specify your vehicle type and model)
  7.  Vehicle Model
  8.  User Name
Step 6: Account Information
Enter the following:
  1.   Phone
  2.   Password
  3.   Confirm Password
  4.   Bank Unique ID

Step 7: Submit the Application
Once you’ve filled in all the details, click on 'Submit'.
The delivery personnel's account will be successfully created, and they can then log in to the driver app using their credentials. From there, they can start receiving orders and access their dashboard.

Steps for Web:

Step 1: Ensure that "Self Delivery" is enabled for the specific restaurant in the admin panel.

  • To self-assign delivery personnel, the restaurant must first contact the admin team to enable the 'Self Delivery' option. Once it's activated, you can begin adding Deliveryman.

Step 2: Access the Web Portal

  • Log in to the Home Food Chef web portal through your browser.

Step 3: Navigate to the 'Delivery Management' section. on the left side of the page.

  • Go to the 'Delivery Management' menu and select 'Add New Delivery man' to start the registration process.

Step 4: Enter Personal Details (General Info).

Fill in the required details:

  1. First Name
  2. Last Name
  3. Email
  4. Zone
  5. Vehicle
  6. Job Type
  7. Identity Type
  8. Identity Number
  9. Identity Image
Step 5: Enter Additional Details.

Provide the following information:

  1. Age
  2. Bank Name
  3. Account Holder Name
  4. Account Number
  5. Sort Code
  6. Delivery Vehicle Type (Specify your vehicle type and model)
  7. Vehicle Model
  8. User Name

Step 6: Account Info. 

Enter the following:
  1. Phone
  2. Password
  3. Confirm Password
  4. Bank Unique ID

Step 7: Submit the Application.

  • Once you’ve filled in all the details, click 'Submit.'

  • The Deliveryman's account will be successfully created. They will then be able to log in to the Deliveryman portal using their credentials to begin receiving orders and access their dashboard.
