Placing Single Order

The Home Food Spot application is a user-friendly food delivery platform that allows users to search for Kitchens, Order Food, Track Deliveries & Pay Securely.

Steps for Mobile:

  1. Launch Home Food Spot app from your mobile device.
  2. Allow the app to detect your current location or manually enter your delivery address.
  3. On the home screen, you’ll see a variety of options like Kitchens, Food Items and Deals. Scroll through the recommended kitchens, dishes or special offers.
  4. Tap on the search icon at the top and enter keywords to search for a specific kitchen, dish or cuisine.
  5. Tap on a kitchen to view its menu, available items and special offers.
  6. Once you find what you want, tap on the Add To Cart button to include items in your cart.
  7. Tap the View Cart icon / button to review your order, modify quantities or add/remove items.
  8. When you’re ready, click Proceed to Checkout to confirm your delivery address and review the order.
  9. Choose your preferred order Type, Delivery option, preference Time and payment option (Cash on Delivery, Pay via Wallet or Pay with Stripe).
  10. After reviewing everything, tap Confirm Order to confirm.
  11. Use the order tracker to see real-time updates on the status and delivery progress of your food.
  12. Once your order arrives, you can rate and review your meal and delivery experience.

Steps for Web Application:

  1. Open your web browser and go to the official User App website (www.homefoodglobal.com).

  2. Enter your credentials to log in or create an account if you’re a new user.

  3. Choose your delivery location via current location, Set From Map or from the saved address.

  4. Explore options like Kitchens, Foods, or Deals displayed on the homepage.

  5. Enter a kitchen name, dish or cuisine in the search bar to find what you need.

  6. Click on a kitchen to view its menu, available items, and special offers.

  7. Select the dishes you want and click the Add to Cart button.

  8. Click on the Cart icon to review your order, modify quantities, or remove items.

  9. When you’re ready, click Proceed to Checkout to confirm your delivery address and review the order.

  10. Choose your preferred order Type, Delivery option, preference Time and payment option (Cash on Delivery, Pay via Wallet or Pay with Stripe).  

  11. After reviewing everything, tap Confirm Order to confirm.
  12. Use the order tracker to see real-time updates on the status and delivery progress of your food.
  13. Once your order arrives, you can rate and review your meal and delivery experience.


Placing a Subscription Order

Easily set up recurring deliveries by selecting the subscription option during checkout for consistent and convenient meal orders.


Steps for Mobile:  

  1. Open the food application on your mobile device
  2. Log in to your account or create a new one if you’re a first-time user.
  3. Use the map or manually enter your delivery address.
  4. Navigate through the menu or search for your favorite dishes or cuisines.
  5. Tap on the desired items and add them to your cart.
  6. Open the cart and tap “Proceed to Checkout.”
  7. On the checkout page, you’ll see the option to choose between Regular Order or Subscription Order.
  8. Tap on “Subscription Order” and set the delivery frequency (e.g., daily, weekly, or monthly).
  9. Confirm the delivery address, time, and subscription details.
  10. Select a payment method, confirm the transaction, and place your subscription order.
  11. Go to My Orders > Subscription to view or make changes to your subscription order.

Steps for Web:

  1. Open the food application’s official website and log in to your account.
  2. Use the "Set Location" option to enter your delivery address.
  3. Explore the available menu items or use the search bar to find your favorites.
  4. Select the dishes you want and add them to your cart.
  5. Click on the cart icon and select “Checkout.”
  6. On the checkout page, choose the Subscription Order option instead of Regular Order.
  7. Specify how often you want the order delivered (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).
  8. Enter the delivery address and preferred delivery time.
  9. Proceed to payment and confirm the transaction.
  10. Navigate to My Orders > Subscription to view or make changes to your subscription order.


Steps for Reorders

Reorder your past favorite dishes quickly and effortlessly from your order history.


Steps for Mobile:  
  1. Open the Home Food Spot App

    • Launch the app on your mobile device.

  1. Sign In (if needed)

    • If you're not logged in, tap the “Sign In” button, then enter your login credentials.

  1. Access Past Orders or Favourites

    • Look for options like “My Orders” or “Previous Orders.”

    • Tap the appropriate option to view your order history.

  1. Select the Item You Want to Reorder

    • Browse through your past orders or saved favourites.

    • Tap on the order or item you'd like to reorder.

  1. Reorder or Add to Cart

    • Once you've selected the item, tap the option to "Reorder" or "Add to Cart."

  1. Customise (Optional)

    • If available, modify the order with special requests or adjust quantities.

    • Make any desired changes.

  1. Proceed to Checkout

    • Tap on the “Checkout” button to finalise your order.

  1. Confirm and Wait for Delivery

    • Add your payment details, review your order, and confirm.

    • Wait for your food to be delivered!

 

Steps for Web:  

      
  1. Log in to Your Account

    • Open the Home Food Spot website in your browser.

    • Click on the “Sign In” button (usually at the top right) and enter your credentials.

  1. Go to Your Account or Profile

    • Once logged in, navigate to your profile by clicking on your account icon or name.

  1. Look for Past Orders or Favourites

    • In your account area, click on “Past Orders” to view previous orders, or “Favourites” if you’ve saved specific items.

  1. Select the Item to Reorder

    • Browse through your list of past orders or favourite items.

    • Click on the item or order you want to reorder.

  1. Reorder or Add to Cart

    • Once you find the item, click on the option to “Reorder” or “Add to Cart.”

  1. Review & Customize (Optional)

    • If prompted, you can modify the order (add customizations or adjust the quantity).

    • Make any changes you like.

  1. Proceed to Checkout

    • When you’re ready, click the “Checkout” button to proceed with payment and finalise your order.

  1. Confirm and Wait for Delivery

    • Enter your payment information, review your order, and confirm.

    • Wait for your delivery!


Schedule Orders for Later

Easily schedule your food orders for a later during checkout and enjoy timely deliveries at your convenience.


Steps for Mobile:

  1. Launch the Home food spot application on your mobile device.

  2. Log in to your account or create a new one if you’re a first-time user.

  3. Use the map or manually enter your delivery address.

  4. Search for your favorite restaurants, dishes, or cuisines.

  5. Tap on your desired items and add them to your cart.

  6. Open the cart and tap “Proceed to Checkout.

  7. On the checkout page, choose the *Preference Time* option.

  8. Select your preferred delivery time from the available slots.

  9. Verify the delivery address, items, and schedule details.

  10. Choose your payment method, confirm the transaction, and schedule your order.

  11. Go to "My Orders" to view or track your scheduled order


Steps for Web:

  1. Open the Home Food spot application’s official website and log in to your account.

  2. Use the "Use Current Location" or "Set from map" option to enter your delivery address.

  3. Search for restaurants, cuisines, or specific dishes.

  4. Select your favorite dishes and add them to your cart.

  5. Click on the cart icon and proceed to checkout.

  6. On the checkout page, select the *Preference Time* option.

  7. Pick your desired delivery time from the available options.

  8. Confirm the delivery address, scheduled time, and selected items.

  9. Finalize the transaction using your preferred payment method.

  10. Navigate to *My Orders* to view your scheduled order details.


Placing a Takeaway Order 

Place a takeaway order to pick up your favorite meals directly from the restaurant at your convenience.


Steps for Mobile:
  1. Open the Home Food Spot app and sign in or create an account.

  2. Enter your address or allow the app to access your location. This will ensure restaurants in your area are shown.

  3. Use the search bar to find specific restaurants or browse the categories (e.g., fast food, pizza, Asian cuisine, etc.).

  4. Select Your Food:

    1. Once you’ve chosen a restaurant, browse their menu, select the items you want, and add them to your cart.

    2. Customize your order (e.g., extra toppings, no onions, etc.) if needed.

  5. Double-check your order in the cart to make sure everything is correct.

  6. Ensure you select the "Takeaway" option rather than delivery.

  7. You can pay via credit/debit card, mobile wallet, or sometimes cash on pickup, depending on the restaurant and app.

  8. Place the Order:

    1. Once you’re ready, click on the “Place Order” or “Confirm Order” button.

    2. You may receive an estimated time for pickup.

  9. Go to the restaurant at the scheduled time to pick up your order.

 

Steps for Web:

  1. Open your web browser and go to Home food Spot delivery website.
  2. Most websites will ask for your location to show you restaurants available in your area. You can either enter your address manually or allow the site to use your current location.
  3. Either browse through the categories (e.g., pizza, sushi, burgers) or use the search bar to find a specific restaurant.
  4. Once you’ve found a restaurant you like, click on it to see the menu.
  5. Browse through the items and click on the ones you want to order. You may be able to customize your order (e.g., choosing toppings or sides).
  6. Double-check that everything in your cart is correct. Make sure you’ve chosen the right items and any customizations.
  7. When you’re ready to check out, make sure you select the “Takeaway” option, not delivery, so you can pick up your order at the restaurant.
  8. Choose your preferred payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.). Some sites may allow cash on pickup, so check the payment options.
  9. Go to the restaurant at the specified pickup time to collect your order.
  10. Once you’ve reviewed everything and made the payment, click the “Place Order” or “Confirm Order” button.
